My Current Campaigns
I’m currently working on three, pretty different campaigns:
The Serenity campaign is in its final “episode” of the season. The Pathfinder game is what I’ll be focusing after Serenity wraps up. I plan on coming back to the ‘Verse at some point but am ready to try some new stuff.
Pathfinder is new for me. I’m an old school 1st and 2nd edition AD&D guy and never played 3rd or 4th, much less 3. 5. But I’m already learning a lot and find that there’s a lot to like with the new system–plus there’s enough of the old system there that it truly is D&D.
Dresden is what I’m working on for pick-up games when our full group can’t get together. That game is far outside of what I’m used to–but I’m loving the preparation phase and the collaborative feel of the game. The Aspects mechanic is a little more abstract than I’m used to–it’s not a simulation game, but a storytelling one. But I think it’s going to be a lot of fun.
At any rate, if you’d like to check out the progress, I’m on Obsidian Portal as “pencilneckgeek“. My campaigns are listed below:
